Vicente Fernandez J
Revisiting the origin of Charro Days, The Mr. Amigo Association is proud to present a real and authentic "Cherri", for the grand event that bears the name, as the 2009 Mr. Amigo nominee. Joining only a select few, past Mr. Amigo candidates including his father, Vicente Fernandez Jr. "El Mayor de Los Potrillos" (The Oldest of the Colts) becomes only of a handful of real "Charros" to be nominated as Mr. Amigo. Vicente Fernandez, Jr. will be honored with a President's Ball and Noche de Fiesta on Thursday evening and a Mr. Amigo Awards Banquet on Friday.
